Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the post of TGT Music must fulfil the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Music/Performing Arts from a recognised institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and also in aggregate.
- Music must have been studied as the main subject in all years of the degree.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) from an NCTE-recognised institution with at least 50% marks.
Desirable Qualifications
- Teaching experience in a similar capacity in a recognised school.
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
- Experience of working in a residential school.
- Knowledge of regional language.
Age Limit
The minimum age is 18 years and the upper age limit is 50 years as on 01 August 2026. The notification specifies 01 August 2026 as the cut-off date for all parameters.
Salary / Remuneration
The selected candidate for the post of TGT Music will receive a remuneration of ₹40,625 per month.
