University of Kashmir OMR-Based Written Test 2026: Exam Dates Announced
Srinagar: The University of Kashmir, Srinagar, Office of the Controller of Examinations has issued an important notice regarding the OMR-based written examination for candidates who have applied for various posts advertised through Advertisement Notice Nos. 02 of 2026, 06 of 2026, 08 of 2026 and 09 of 2026.
As per the official notice, the written examinations for the eligible candidates will be conducted according to the following schedule:

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Candidates must ensure that they fulfil all the prescribed eligibility conditions before appearing in the examination.
- Appearance in the OMR-based written test will be purely provisional and will not confer any right to appointment, selection or participation in further shortlisting processes.
- Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applicable for each wrong answer.
- Candidates must carry a valid photo ID proof along with their Admit Card to the examination venue.
- Ball-point pens required for marking the OMR answer sheets will be provided by the Examination Superintendent. Candidates will not be permitted to carry or use their own pens during the examination.
- Candidates are advised to reach the examination venue at least one hour before the scheduled examination time.
- The link for downloading the Admit Card will be made available on the official University of Kashmir website five days before the respective examination date.
- The use of mobile phones, calculators and other electronic devices inside the examination venue is strictly prohibited.
- Any candidate found using unfair means may be liable for disqualification.

The University of Kashmir has stated that the Admit Card download link will be made available on its official website five days before the respective date of examination. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for Admit Card updates and other important instructions.
