The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued an important notice regarding facilities for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs) in the upcoming Lecturer Written Examinations scheduled from 27th September to 9th November 2025.
Key Highlights of the Notice:
Scribe & Extra Time: Candidates with benchmark disabilities will be allowed a scribe and/or compensatory time as per the RPwD Act, 2016.
Extra Time: Eligible PwBD candidates will get 20 minutes per hour of examination.
Scribe for Specific Disabilities: For blindness, locomotor disability (both arms affected), and cerebral palsy, scribe facility will be provided if desired.
Medical Certification Required: Candidates must produce a disability certificate and, if applicable, a certificate showing limitation to write (Annexure-A).
