The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has invited online applications for the recruitment of 205 posts of Assistant Professors, College Directors of Physical Education & Sports and Librarians in Government Degree Colleges under the Higher Education Department, Jammu & Kashmir.
Eligible candidates should submit their online application as soon as possible. According to the official notification, the last date for receipt of online applications is 31 August 2026. Candidates are advised not to wait until the final day because the website may experience heavy load during the closing days.

Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess the prescribed qualification for the concerned post. Generally, applicants require a Master's Degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject or an equivalent grade.
Candidates must also fulfill the prescribed NET/SLET/SET or PhD eligibility conditions mentioned in the official JKPSC notification. Candidates should carefully check the complete notification before applying.

Important Instructions
The age and educational qualifications will be determined with reference to 01 January 2026. Candidates must ensure that all mandatory documents are uploaded along with the online application form.
Applicants should not submit multiple applications through different Registration IDs or User IDs. The Commission has also advised candidates to complete their applications well before the last date to avoid payment failures, login issues or heavy website traffic.
