JKSSB Accounts Assistant Examination 2026: Fresh Update – Exam Scheduled for November 15
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a fresh update regarding the Accounts Assistant, Finance Department Examination 2026. As per the official communication dated October 7, 2026, the OMR-based written examination is scheduled to be
conducted on November 15, 2026. The examination is scheduled to be held as planned, and the latest communication concerns arrangements for examination centres across Jammu and Kashmir.
Division-Wise Number of Candidates
According to the official letter, a total of
1,61,961 candidates have applied for the examination.

Jammu Division: 82,489 candidates
- Kashmir Division: 79,472 candidates
- Total: 1,61,961 candidates
The JKSSB has requested the Divisional Commissioners to provide details of available examination centres and their seating capacities to ensure smooth conduct of the examination.
