Need Based Academic Arrangement 2026-27: Round-2 College Allotment Notice Released
Jammu Division Colleges Academic Arrangement 2026-27: The Office of the Nodal Principal, Jammu Division Colleges, Government College for Women, Parade Ground, Jammu, has issued the Allotment Notice Round-2 for Need Based Academic Arrangement Faculty for the session 2026-27.
As per the official notice dated 10 August 2026, the Round-2 college allotment will be generated according to the candidates' merit, number of vacancies and preferences submitted during the application process.

How Will College Allotment Be Done?
According to the official notification, the Round-2 allotments will be system-generated. Allotment will be made on the basis of:
- Number of available vacancies.
- Merit of the candidate.
- Preferences submitted by the candidate.
Shortlisted candidates can log in to their respective accounts on the Academic Arrangement Portal to check their allotted college.
Important Instructions for Shortlisted Candidates
- Candidates must log in to their respective accounts on the Academic Arrangement Portal.
- The allotted college will be visible to shortlisted candidates based on vacancies, merit and submitted preferences.
- Candidates who receive an allotment must accept the allotment and join the allotted college by or before 12 August 2026 at 4:00 PM.
- If a candidate fails to join within the stipulated deadline, the allotment will be automatically cancelled.
- Such candidates will not be considered for allotment in any subsequent round.
- The college allotted to a candidate according to the submitted preferences will not be changed.
- A candidate will not be shifted because of vacancies arising due to non-joining or because of additional vacancies, if any.
Will There Be Further Allotment Rounds?
Yes. The notice states that subsequent rounds will be initiated after the conclusion of the current round and will be notified separately.
All candidates are advised to remain in touch with the Academic Arrangement Portal for further information. No individual communication will be made or entertained.
Can Candidates Withdraw Their Application?
Yes. Candidates who want to withdraw their applications for any reason can use the “Withdraw Application” option available on the home page of the Academic Arrangement Portal.
However, once an application is withdrawn:
- The candidate will not be considered for college allotment.
- The application fee will not be refunded.

Important Note

Failure to join by 4:00 PM on 12 August 2026 will result in automatic cancellation of the allotment.
