📚 About the Recruitment
The Department of Commerce, Central University of Kashmir requires Guest Teacher/s for teaching the postgraduate programme offered by the Department of Commerce.
The engagement will initially be made for the academic session 2026-2027 up to 31 December 2026. The engagement may be extended if required.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must possess a Master's Degree in Commerce with 55% marks or an equivalent qualification.
- In addition to the above qualification, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or must have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the applicable UGC regulations.
- Candidates who are exempted from NET as per the applicable UGC regulations may also be eligible.
👨🏫 Preference to Retired Teachers
Retired teachers in the relevant subject who have worked in the Higher Education Department (College/University) of the Jammu & Kashmir UT are also eligible and shall be given preference, as mentioned in the notification.
💰 Remuneration
Lecture Fee: ₹1,000 per lecture
Maximum Monthly Remuneration: ₹25,000 per month
TA: ₹300 per day of visit, subject to a maximum of ₹5,000 per month
