Post-Wise Educational Qualification
1. Junior Engineer (Auto-Mobile)
- Bachelor's Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- OR Diploma with five years of experience. The experience requirement is relaxable in the case of in-service candidates.
2. Junior Engineer (Electric)
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- OR Diploma with five years of experience. The experience requirement is relaxable in the case of in-service candidates.
3. Statistical Assistant
- M.A. or M.Sc. in Statistics.
4. Tutor (English)
- Master's Degree in English with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade wherever the grading system is followed.
5. Works Supervisor (Electric)
- ITI in the concerned trade (Electric).
- OR 10+2 with two years of experience in the trade.
- OR Matriculation with five years of experience in the trade.
6. Mechanic
- Matriculation.
- ITI Diploma in the concerned trade.
7. Security Guard
- Literate.
- Ex-serviceman.
- Upper age limit shall be the same as prescribed by the State Government.
Age Limit for SKUAST Kashmir Recruitment 2026
The age of candidates shall be reckoned as on 01 January 2026. The category-wise age limits are given below:
