JKPSC Rejects Candidature of 6 Candidates for Assistant Professor Civil Engineering (GCET)
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued a notice regarding the rejection of candidature of six candidates for the post of Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering (GCET) in the Higher Education Department, Jammu and Kashmir.
The notice, dated 22 October 2026, states that the candidates were found to lack the requisite qualifications for the post after scrutiny of the documents submitted in response to the deficiency notice.
JKPSC Assistant Professor Civil Engineering Rejection Notice 2026
According to the official notice issued by JKPSC, the Higher Education Department had referred eight posts of Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering (GCET), for selection. The posts were advertised under Notification No. 11-PSC (DR-P) of 2023 dated 5 April 2023.
The written examination for these posts was conducted on 22 October 2023, and the result was declared through Notification No. PSC/Exam/S/2025/03 dated 25 January 2025.
Following the scrutiny of documents submitted by the candidates, the Commission found that six candidates did not possess the prescribed relevant qualifications for the advertised post.
