JK Higher Education Department Round 5 Allotment 2026-27
The Office of the Nodal Principal, Kashmir Division Colleges, Higher Education Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, has issued the Allotment Notification for Round 5 of Need Based Academic Arrangement Faculty for the Session 2026-27.
The allotment for the fifth round will be carried out for the left-out vacancies as per the merit and preferences submitted by the candidates.

🔹 How Will Allotment Be Done?
The college allotments will be system-generated according to the merit and preferences submitted by the candidates. Shortlisted candidates can log in to their respective accounts on the Academic Arrangement Portal to check their allotted college.
⚠️ Important Instructions for Candidates
- Candidates must log in to their accounts on the Academic Arrangement Portal to check their allotment.
- Shortlisted candidates must accept the allotment and join the allotted college by 14 September 2026 up to 3:00 PM.
- If a candidate fails to accept the allotment and join within the stipulated time, the allotment will be automatically cancelled.
- Candidates who fail to join within the prescribed timeline will not be considered for allotment in any subsequent round.
- The college allotted as per the submitted preferences will not be changed. Candidates will not be shifted because of vacancies arising due to non-joining or additional vacancies.
- Subsequent rounds, if any, will be initiated after completion of the current round and will be notified separately through the Academic Arrangement Portal.
- Candidates who wish to withdraw their applications can use the “Withdraw Application” option available on the portal.
- Withdrawn applications will not be considered for college allotment and the application fee will not be refunded.
Candidates are advised to join the allotted college within the stipulated timeline. No excuse whatsoever will be entertained for non-joining.
📅 Important Deadline
Candidate Joining Deadline: 14 September 2026, up to 3:00 PM.
Principals of all Government Degree Colleges of Kashmir Division have also been requested to update all joinings/resignations on the portal by 14 September 2026 at 4:00 PM.
