CEO Anantnag Calls Meeting on De-freezing of Posts The Office of the Chief Education Officer (CEO), Anantnag has issued an important Meeting Notice dated August 13, 2026, regarding the submission of information related to the de-freezing of posts in the education department. According to the notice, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir, Srinagar has taken a serious view of the non-submission of the required information by the concerned office. Meeting Scheduled for August 14 A meeting of all Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) along with their respective dealing assistants has been scheduled as follows: - Date: August 14, 2026 - Time: 10:15 AM sharp - Venue: Office chambers of the Chief Education Officer, Anantnag - Participants: All Zonal Education Officers along with their dealing assistants Information to Be Brought to the Meeting All concerned ZEOs have been directed to attend the meeting along with the requisite information in the prescribed format that has already been circulated to them. The information regarding the High and Higher Secondary Schools of their respective zones is required to be submitted in a consolidated manner. Matter to Be Given Top Priority The CEO Anantnag has directed all concerned officers to treat the matter with top priority. The notice further states that defaulting officers will be dealt with seriously. The notice has also been forwarded to the Director School Education Kashmir, Srinagar for information and to all Zonal Education Officers for necessary action.
