JKPSC Rejects Candidature for Lecturer Political Science Posts
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued a notice dated 09 March 2026 regarding the rejection of candidature for the post of Lecturer in Political Science in the School Education Department.
According to the notification, some candidates were earlier asked to submit deficient documents after the notice issued on 13 February 2026. However, during the verification process, it was found that the candidates failed to provide valid category certificates within the prescribed cut-off date.
Due to this reason, the candidature of the following candidates has been rejected:
- Pardeep Singh
- Danish Mohi-ud-Din
- Mudasir Maqbool Najar
JKPSC stated that these candidates submitted certificates that were either issued in an incorrect format or were issued after the cut-off date mentioned in the advertisement notification.
The Commission has also informed that if any candidate feels aggrieved by this decision, he may submit a representation before the Appellate Authority of JKPSC within 10 days from the date of issuance of the notice with proper supporting documents.
This notice has been issued by the Deputy Secretary of JKPSC from the office located at Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu.
