JKPSC Lecturer Exam — Important Instructions (19 October 2025)

Read these instructions carefully and follow them strictly on the exam day.
Reporting & Entry
- Report time: All candidates must reach the examination venue at least 2 hours before the start of the exam.
- Entry cut-off: Entry into the venue will be closed 30 minutes before the scheduled start of each session — no late admissions after that time.
- Candidates should be seated in the examination hall 20 minutes before the exam begins to complete necessary formalities.
Identity & Documents
- Carry your Admit Card — it is mandatory for entry.
- Bring a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, or Passport for identity verification.
- Keep all documents ready and easily accessible to speed up the verification process.
What NOT to Bring (Strictly Prohibited)
- Mobile phones, smart / digital wrist watches, Bluetooth devices, earphones, pagers or any communication gadgets.
- Calculators, stencils, slide rules, or any electronic computing device.
- Any written notes, crib sheets, or unauthorized/incriminating material.
Examroom Conduct & Materials
- Carry your own blue or black ballpoint pen. Sharing or borrowing writing instruments is not allowed.
- Follow all instructions printed on the OMR sheet from the very start — fill responses carefully and as instructed.
- No candidate will be permitted to leave the examination hall before the expiry of the full exam duration (i.e., 2 hours).
- Relatives, friends and vehicles are not allowed inside the examination premises.
After the Exam
- If a detachable carbon copy of OMR is provided for candidates, follow the invigilator’s directions before taking any copy out. Hand over the original OMR to the invigilator as instructed.
- Ensure you collect all personal belongings before leaving the venue; the commission is not responsible for lost items.
Other Important Notes
- Admission to the written exam is provisional — final eligibility remains subject to satisfying all Recruitment Rules and documents verification.
- In case of inclement weather or transport disruption, plan to reach the centre a day earlier if feasible.
- Failure to follow the instructions may result in disqualification, your OMR sheet not being evaluated, or other disciplinary action.
