The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Office of the Child Development Project Officer, POSHAN Project Srinagar has released the Advertisement Notice No. 02-CDPO (SGR) of 2025 dated 22.08.2025 for the recruitment of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers – AWWs) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers – AWHs).

Eligibility Criteria
For Anganwadi Workers (AWWs)
Must be domicile of J&K.
Women candidates between 18–37 years as on 01.01.2025.
Resident of the electoral ward where Anganwadi Centre is located.
Minimum qualification: 10+2
Maximum qualification: Graduation
Higher than graduation will not be considered.
For Anganwadi Helpers (AWHs)
Must be domicile of J&K.
Women candidates between 18–37 years as on 01.01.2023.
Resident of the electoral ward where Anganwadi Centre is located.
Minimum qualification: 10th pass.
If no matriculate candidate is available, 8th pass may be considered.

Domicile Certificate
Affidavit (1st Class Magistrate)
Electoral Ward Certificate
Aadhaar Card
Voter Card & Electoral Roll (Mandatory)
Unmarried/Married Certificate (by Tehsildar)
Relieving Order (if belonging to retired AWW/AWH family)
Selection Process
Selection based on merit marks in 10+2 (for AWWs) and Matric (for AWHs).
Document Verification will be conducted for shortlisted candidates.
