JKSSB Class IV Notification 2026 Regarding Court Case New Order

CAT Jammu Admits Plea Challenging MTS Qualification Criteria; Next Hearing on November 20
The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Jammu, has admitted a plea filed by Mohd Anjum and other applicants challenging the qualification criteria prescribed for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) posts advertised by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB).
The applicants have challenged Advertisement Notification No. 09 of 2026, dated September 1, 2026, which prescribes minimum qualification as Matriculation and maximum qualification as 10+2 for the MTS posts.
The applicants submitted that the notification was issued without waiting for the report of the committee constituted by the General Administration Department (GAD) to review the qualification criteria.
The Tribunal has issued notices to the respondents and directed them to file their reply or objections, specifying the steps taken by the committee under the relevant government orders.
The matter is scheduled for the next hearing on November 20, 2026.
Note: The Tribunal has not yet delivered a final judgment on the qualification criteria. The case remains pending.
