JKPSC Assistant Professor Selection Criteria 2026
- Written Examination: 70 Marks
- Academic Merit: Maximum 6 Marks
- SET/SLET – 1 Mark
- NET – 2 Marks
- JRF – 3 Marks
- M.Phil – 2 Marks
- Ph.D – 5 Marks
- Post-Doctoral (Minimum One Year) – 1 Mark
Research, Awards & Experience
- Research Papers & Publications: Maximum 2 Marks
- Published Book: 0.50 Mark
- National Award/Gold Medal: Maximum 3 Marks
- Teaching Experience: Maximum 2 Marks
Interview / Domain Knowledge
Candidates shortlisted after the written examination will appear for the Interview/Domain Knowledge Test, carrying 14 Marks. The interview includes a 5-minute lecture demonstration to assess subject knowledge, teaching ability, communication skills, and overall performance. 1

- Academic Merit, Publications, Awards & Experience – 16 Marks
- Interview / Domain Knowledge – 14 Marks
- Total = 100 Marks
