J&K Academic Arrangement 2026-27: Round-3 College Allotment Notification Released
Jammu/Srinagar, August 24, 2026: The Offices of the Nodal Principals for Jammu Division Colleges and Kashmir Division Colleges have issued the Round-3 Allotment Notification for Need-Based Academic Arrangement Faculty for the session 2026-27.
The allotment of colleges for Round 3 will be generated through the Academic Arrangement Portal based on the candidates' merit, submitted preferences and available requirements/vacancies.
Allotment Schedule
- Allotment Generation: August 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM onwards.
- Portal: ikaa.directorcollegesjk.in
- Jammu Division Joining Deadline: August 27, 2026, up to 4:00 PM.
- Kashmir Division Joining Deadline: August 27, 2026, up to 3:00 PM.
How Candidates Can Check Their Allotment
Candidates have been instructed to log in to their respective accounts on the Academic Arrangement Portal. The allotted college will be displayed to shortlisted candidates according to their merit, submitted preferences and available vacancies.

Important Instructions for Selected Candidates
- Candidates shortlisted in Round 3 will only have the option to Accept the allotted college and join within the prescribed time.
- Failure to join within the stipulated deadline will result in the automatic cancellation of the allotment.
- Candidates whose allotment is cancelled due to non-joining will not be considered for allotment in any subsequent round.
- The college allotted according to the candidate's submitted preferences will not be changed.
- Candidates will not be shifted because of vacancies arising due to non-joining or any additional vacancies.
- Subsequent rounds will be initiated after the conclusion of the current round and will be notified separately.
- No individual communication will be sent to candidates. All applicants must regularly check the Academic Arrangement Portal for updates.
Withdrawal of Application
Candidates who wish to withdraw their application can use the “Withdraw Application” option available on the homepage of the portal. However, applications that are withdrawn will not be considered for college allotment.
Please note: The application fee will not be refunded in case of withdrawal of the application.
Joining Instructions for Jammu and Kashmir Divisions
Candidates allotted colleges are strongly advised to complete the joining process within the prescribed timeline. The authorities have clearly stated that no excuse whatsoever will be entertained for non-joining.
For the Jammu Division, principals of all Government Degree Colleges have been requested to update all joinings on the Academic Arrangement Portal by August 27, 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
For the Kashmir Division, all joinings and resignations are required to be updated on the portal by August 27, 2026, up to 4:00 PM.
Candidates who have participated in the J&K Need-Based Academic Arrangement 2026-27 Round 3 should immediately log in to the Academic Arrangement Portal and check their allotment status. Selected candidates must accept the allotment and join their respective colleges before the deadline applicable to their division.
Important: Missing the joining deadline may lead to cancellation of the allotment and exclusion from subsequent rounds.
