J&K General Line Teacher Recruitment 2026 Update: CEO Anantnag Issues Fresh Circular on De-Freezing of Vacancies
The Office of the Chief Education Officer (CEO), Anantnag has issued a fresh circular regarding the de-freezing of General Line Teacher vacancies in the School Education Department. The circular has been issued following the directions of the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK).
As per the circular, all Principals, Headmasters, and concerned establishment clerks have been directed to submit the required information in the prescribed format to their respective Zonal Education Offices. Schools have been instructed to provide both hard and soft copies of the vacancy details within the given timeline so that the information can be consolidated and forwarded to DSEK.
The CEO office has also directed that the consolidated report must reach the Directorate by 06 August 2026 at 12:00 Noon. Any delay in submitting the required information has been stated to be viewed seriously.
This development indicates that the department is actively collecting updated vacancy data, which is an important administrative step in the de-freezing process of General Line Teacher posts.
