CTET September 2026: Online Application Reopened, Last Date September 1
CTET September 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reopened the online application window for the 22nd Edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Eligible candidates who could not apply during the earlier application period can now submit their applications.
According to the latest CBSE Public Notice dated 25 August 2026, the CTET September 2026 application portal has been reopened from 25 August 2026 to 1 September 2026.

Who Can Apply?
The reopened application opportunity is for eligible candidates who could not avail themselves of the earlier application window. The previous application window was open from 11 May 2026 to 10 June 2026.
Candidates who have already successfully completed and submitted their CTET application form do not need to apply again, as clearly stated by CBSE in its latest public notice. 1

The earlier CTET schedule had mentioned 6 September 2026 as the examination date. However, CBSE's latest notice states that the revised date of the 22nd Edition of CTET will be announced after closure of the application portal. Therefore, candidates should wait for the official revised examination schedule.
