JKSET/LASET 2026 Paper-I Syllabus Released – Check All 10 Units
The University of Kashmir has released the syllabus for JKSET/LASET 2026 Paper-I – General Paper on Teaching & Research Aptitude.
Paper-I is designed to assess candidates' teaching and research aptitude, reasoning ability, comprehension, communication, ICT knowledge and general awareness related to higher education and environment.

- Unit I: Teaching Aptitude
- Unit II: Research Aptitude
- Unit III: Comprehension
- Unit IV: Communication
- Unit V: Mathematical Reasoning and Aptitude
- Unit VI: Logical Reasoning
- Unit VII: Data Interpretation
- Unit VIII: Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Unit IX: People, Development and Environment
- Unit X: Higher Education System
Important: As per the syllabus document, five questions carrying 2 marks each are to be set from each module/unit.
Candidates preparing for JKSET/LASET 2026 are advised to carefully go through all 10 units of Paper-I and prepare according to the prescribed syllabus.
