J&K College Contractual Lecturer Academic Arrangement Recruitment 2026-27: Important Preference Rules
Candidates applying for J&K College Academic Arrangement Recruitment 2026-27 must carefully fill their college preferences. The Directorate of Colleges, J&K has issued important instructions regarding the college preference and allotment process.
Important Preference Rules
- Candidates can select as few or as many colleges as they wish. There is no minimum or maximum number of preferences.
- Select only those colleges where you are genuinely willing to join.
- Candidates can choose colleges from Jammu Division, Kashmir Division or both Divisions.
- If you do not get a college in one allotment round, your candidature does not end. You may remain under consideration in subsequent rounds.
- If a college from your own preference list is allotted and you fail to join, your candidature will end and you will not be considered in subsequent rounds.
- There is no Hold and Upgrade option. The system-generated allotment is final.
Preference Modification Window: Candidates may revise their college preferences once during the Preference Modification Window after subject-wise requirements are displayed along with the Final Merit List.
Important Advice: Fill college preferences very carefully. Do not add a college if you are not willing to join it because failure to join an allotted college may end your candidature for subsequent allotment rounds.
