College Preference Filling Started for Need-Based Academic Arrangement 2026-27
The Higher Education Department, Jammu & Kashmir has released an important notice for candidates whose names appear in the Final Subject-wise Common Merit List for engagement as Lecturer, Teaching Assistant, PTI, and Librarian under the Need-Based Academic Arrangement for the Academic Session 2026-27.
Candidates can now fill their college preferences online from 30 July 2026 (2:00 PM). The last date and time to submit preferences is 1 August 2026 (4:00 PM).
Important Instructions
- Fill only those colleges where you are genuinely willing to serve.
- Allotment will be made strictly on the basis of merit and preference order.
- No change or upgradation of college will be allowed after allotment.
- Candidates who fail to report after allotment will lose their selection.
- Read the tentative subject-wise vacancy list carefully before submitting preferences.
