JKPSC Provisional Select List for Lecturer (Education) Released – Check Details
The Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released the Provisional Select List for the post of Lecturer (Education) in the School Education Department. The notification has been issued vide Notification No. 13-PSC (DR-S) of 2026 dated 24 February 2026.
A total of 48 posts were referred by the School Education Department to JKPSC for recruitment. The written examination for the said posts was conducted on 27 September 2025, and the result was declared on 01 December 2025, in which 152 candidates qualified for the interview.
The viva-voce (interview) of the shortlisted candidates was held from 16 February to 24 February 2026 with the assistance of subject experts from outside the Union Territory of J&K.
Based on the performance of candidates in the written test and interview, JKPSC has now issued the provisional merit list, which is available in the annexure attached to the official notification.
