CTET February 2026 Exam Date Revised: Official Notice
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an important public notice regarding the CTET February 2026 examination. Earlier, the CTET exam was scheduled to be held on 8 February 2026 (Sunday) only. However, due to a large number of applications, CBSE has now decided to conduct the exam on two days – 7th and 8th February 2026.
CTET Exam Schedule 2026
7 February 2026 (Saturday)
Paper II: 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Paper I: 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM
8 February 2026 (Sunday)
Paper II: 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Paper I: 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Each paper will be of 2 hours 30 minutes duration. The examination will be conducted in 140 cities across India.
Candidates are advised to carefully check their admit cards for the exact date and shift of their examination. Entry to the exam centre after the start of the exam will not be allowed, and no request for change of exam city or date will be accepted.
