Closure Of Schools  in Jammu Division  on 6th & 7th October 2025 Due to Heavy Rainfall Alert

The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has announced the closure of all Government and Private Schools across Jammu Division on 6th and 7th October 2025 (Monday and Tuesday).

According to Order No. 374-DSEJ of 2025, the decision was taken following a weather advisory issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall in various parts of Jammu Division.

The order, signed by Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary (JKAS), Director School Education Jammu, emphasizes that the step has been taken to ensure the safety and security of students and staff.

Authorities have been directed to circulate the information widely through print and electronic media to keep everyone informed.
