Postponement of Written Examination for Lecturer Post in English & Political Science
Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has announced the postponement of the written examination for the post of Lecturer in the discipline of English & Political Science. The examination, which was initially scheduled for 28th September 2025, will now be held on 9th November 2025.
New Examination Schedule:
Date: 9th November 2025 (Sunday)
Timing:
Morning Session: 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon
Afternoon Session: 2:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.
The Jammu And Kashmir Public Service Commission has Postponed the lecturer exam which was scheduled to be held on 28th September Now Will be held on 9-11-2025 The Candidates are advised to read the detailed official notification below.
The postponement notice was issued in continuation of a prior notice dated 13th August 2025. Candidates who were preparing for the original exam date should now make note of the revised date and time.
Important Information:
The examination is for candidates applying for the post of Lecturer in the School Education Department.
The original notification (No.07-PSC(DR-P) of 2024, dated 09.12.2024) is still valid, with this change in the exam date.
Note to Candidates: Please ensure to mark the updated date on your calendars and prepare accordingly. The examination will take place in two sessions, as outlined, with a break in between.
