JKPSC Lecturer Exam 2025 – Official Notification
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has announced that the Written Examination (Objective Type) Instructions For the candidates who have to appear in the jkpsc lecturer Exam for post of Lecturer(s) in the School Education Department will be conducted from 27 September 2025.

Start Date: 27 September 2025
End Date: In November
Sessions:
Forenoon: 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
Afternoon: 02:30 PM to 04:30 PM
Admit Card Instructions
Admit Cards Of Each Subject will be available 7 days before the examination date on www.jkpsc.nic.in
Steps to Download Admit Card:
Login to your JKPSC account (User ID & Password).
Click on Admit Card menu.
Click Get Admit Card.
Print your Admit Card.
👉 If you are unable to download, report to JKPSC two days before the exam with proof of application and fee payment.
Exam Day Guidelines
Reporting Time:
Reach at least 2 hours before exam (08:00 AM for Forenoon, 01:30 PM for Afternoon).
Entry will close 30 minutes before the exam starts.
Seating:
- Be seated 20 minutes before the exam begins.Mandatory Documents:
- Admit Card + Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar/ PAN/ DL/ Passport).
- Prohibited Items:Mobile Phones, Smart Watches, Calculators, Bluetooth devices, Headphones, or any unauthorized material.
- Violation = disqualification.
Stationery:
- Bring your own blue/black ballpoint pen in a transparent pouch.
- Exam Format:OMR-based Objective Type Questions.
- 4 options (A, B, C, D) – darken the correct oval fully.
Negative Marking:
¼ (one-fourth) mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Multiple answers for a single question = treated as wrong.Other Rules:
No early leaving (must stay full 2 hours).
No TA/DA by JKPSC.
Candidature is provisional.
