JK College Contractual Lecturer Selection Offers – New Update 2025
Srinagar/Jammu, 2025: The Directorate of Colleges, Jammu & Kashmir has issued a new update regarding Contractual Lecturer Selection Offers. The notice is visible to candidates after login on the official portal.
Key Highlights of the Update
- Candidates can now view college allotment based on merit and preference.
- After allotment, candidates have two options:
- Accept the allotted college
- Opt for upgrade to a higher-preferred institution (if available)
- Upgrade option is not available to:
- Those who have already been allotted their first preference
- Where no vacancy exists in higher-preferred colleges
- Candidates can track their Selection Offers History from the dashboard.
Important Notice
The Directorate has clearly mentioned that the upgrade facility will only work if seats are available in higher-preference colleges. Otherwise, the candidate has to continue with the currently allotted college.
