J&k College Contractual Academic Arrangement The 2nd Round of Allotment of Colleges for Academic Arrangement-2025-26
shall be done as per the following procedure & schedule:
● Allotments against requirements shall be system-generated on 2025 at 10.00 PM onwards according to the merit and preferences of the candidates.
● Allotments against requirements shall be done for the candidates who had not been allotted any college in the previous round as well as for those candidates who had selected Hold & Upgrade in the previous round according to merit and submitted preferences.
● Allotment in this round shall not be made for candidates who had failed to Accept allotment or join their allotted college in the previous round due to whatsoever reasons.
● Candidates who had not submitted their preferences have not been considered for allotment
● Candidates need to log in to their respective accounts on the Academic Arrangement Portal https://jkaa.directorcollegesjk.in and navigate to
SELECTION HISTORY tab, where the system-allotted college will be visible for the shortlisted candidates based on their Merit and
Submitted Preferences.
● Those Shortlisted candidates who had opted for “Hold & Upgrade” in the previous round shall only get the option to Accept the allotment and join the college by or before 20-09-2025 1.00 PM, failing which their allotment will be automatically cancelled and they will not be considered for allotment in any subsequent round. No Further “Hold & Upgrade” Option shall be available for such candidates.
● Those freshly shortlisted candidates who had not been allotted any college in the previous round have the option to Accept the allotment and join the college OR to avail a One-time Hold/Upgrade option (in case 1st preferred college is not allotted) by or before 20-09-2025 1.00 PM, failing which their candidature shall be automatically cancelled and they will not be considered for allotment in any subsequent round. Selecting the Hold & Upgrade option will enable the candidates to be upgraded to their higher-preferred college in the next round subject to availability of vacancies and merit. In case such a candidate gets upgraded to a higher-preferred college in the next round, they will need to join the upgraded option without any option for reverting to the previous allotment and the candidates who is not upgraded to a higher-preferred college in the next round will have to accept the earlier allotted
