CTET 2025 – Central Teacher Eligibility Test Guide
Every year, lakhs of aspirants appear in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). This exam is conducted twice a year – in the June and December sessions. Those waiting for the Teacher Eligibility Test should know that CBSE will release the CTET notification very soon.

CTET Eligibility:
- For Primary Stage (Class I to V): Candidates should have completed Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or equivalent.
- For Elementary Stage (Class VI to VIII): Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
- CTET is mandatory for candidates applying to KVS, NVS, and other central government schools.
