Important Changes in Corrigendum

1. Age Limit Revised

The maximum age limit for In-Service Candidates/Government Servants has been revised.

• Earlier: 40 Years
• Now Revised: 45 Years (As on 01 January 2026)

2. Pay Level Correction

JKPSC has corrected the pay level mentioned in the original notification.

• Correct Pay Level: Level-10
• Salary: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400 per month

3. Recruitment Rules Updated

For Notification No. 07-PSC(DR-P)/2026 (GCET Backlog), applications shall now be governed under:

• Jammu & Kashmir Government Engineering Colleges (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules, 2017
• Issued vide SRO-272 dated 06-07-2017

This replaces the previously mentioned recruitment rules in the notification.
