JKPSC Assistant Professor, College Director & Librarian Recruitment 2026: Last Date Extended
Jammu and Kashmir: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has officially extended the last date for submission of online application forms for various posts under the Higher Education Department, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the official notice dated 28 August 2026, the application deadline for the posts notified under Notification No. 05-PSC (DR-P) of 2026, 06-PSC (DR-P) of 2026 and 07-PSC (DR-P) of 2026 has been extended.
JKPSC Recruitment 2026 – New Last Date
Candidates can now submit their online application forms up to 14 September 2026.
The extension applies to recruitment for the following posts:
- Assistant Professor(s) Librarian, GCET – Backlog Vacancies
- Assistant Professor
- College Director of Physical Education & Sports
- Librarians in Government Colleges under the Higher Education Department
Important Eligibility Cut-Off Date
JKPSC has clearly stated that although the application deadline has been extended, the cut-off date for determining the eligibility of candidates will remain 31 August 2026.
Therefore, candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the prescribed eligibility conditions as on 31 August 2026.
