Eligibility and Benefits
✅ Eligibility
- Girl must be of legal marriageable age (18+).
- Family must belong to AAY or PHH category (ration card proof).
- Education: Minimum 8th pass or equivalent.
- Up to 31 March 2025: school dropouts can apply.
- From 1 April 2025: 8th pass certificate is compulsory.
- Apply at least 1 month before the marriage date in the District Social Welfare Office.
- Should not be availing any similar scheme (e.g., Ladli Beti) for the same purpose.
🎁 Benefits
- ₹50,000 one-time financial assistance.
- Paid before marriage. For Girls belonging To Bpl Families PHH Holders And Rs 75000 Belonging to AAY Families.
- Amount sent via DBT (direct to bank account).
- Implementing agency: Social Welfare Department, J&K.
